A public art display in London 2014.

Fifty book-shaped benches, decorated by artists were be placed around the capital. The benches were auctioned after the display ended, raising funds for National Literacy Trust

This bench design was inspired by Noughts & Crosses by Malorie Blackman. A fantastic series of novels that unveil social issues to younger audiences. I was delighted to be able to provide my own interpretation of the story and hopefully assist in promoting Malorie's work.

The pose of the main characters; Sephy and Callum, is a reference to the statue of Cupid and Psyche by Antonio Canova.
